1. vivatregina: The only decent photo of myself that I have on my camera, thanks to our associate art director, Tracy! :) This was before I thought to tie my Poison Ivy wig into a ponytail. I would have gone with something that looked more canon, but this was the only wig available in the color I wanted. Hey, I can use it for quite a lot of costumes, so at least it’s cost-effective. Also, the contacts (GEO contact lenses courtesy of YesStyle) are really yellow, but I have extremely dark eyes, so they ended up looking a little green. I love them to death; I wish I could wear them every day. Haha! And I think that this picture makes it obvious that I was blue. Not gray, not black, but a very dark blue. I actually made the final decision to go as Mystique when I saw my pot of MAC eyeshadow in Weathered and noticed that it was almost exactly the right shade of blue. :) Some of the Mystiques I saw online were a little too bright for my taste. I looked just like I wanted. :) And that jacket, oh my God, Genie Ranada is a genius. I’m going to wear it all the time! Favorite Halloween costume ever. I’m so glad I did it, and I’m so thrilled that I actually managed to pull it off. Amazing costume!! :D
